What's New—November 2016?
President’s Message:Playing fun, active, and inclusive games with our children, what a gift we can share with our students.
We have all read the statistics of how good physical activity is for children; actually for all of us. Our government expects us to teach so that children develop their physical literacy, and understand game concepts through teaching games for understanding.
But in a world with so much real tension and conflict, it is so good to engage in games for the joy of play. Enjoy today the sweaty bodies running around, the learning that is taking place, and the smiles that enliven the day for all.
Please check out the CIRA Ontario website to download, view, or purchase books that will help you provide fun, active, and inclusive learning experiences for your students. We are adding to this list of games every week.
