  1. Implementation & Oversight: Long Term Care Financing Study

Dr. Leslie Hendrickson and Robert Mollica of the NationalAcademyfor State Health Policy are conducting a Long Term Care Financing Study as part of the California Community Choices project. They will share the progress of their research and preliminary findings, and wish to engage members on key challenges in California.

  1. Implementation & Oversight: Waiver Discussion

Department of Health Care Services will report on current HCBS waiver enrollment and the status of waitlists. Discussion will follow regarding waivers having expiring terms and the process to engage stakeholdersfor input on decisions of waiver renewal and use of State Plan options.

  1. Policy Development: Discussion on Housing Initiatives

Committee will discuss the Home Upkeep Allowance including outreach and education and policy development. In addition, a panel will provide information on housing initiatives of the Mental Health Services Act and those supporting residents transitioning to community living fromAgnewsDevelopmentalCenter.
