Old Union Kindergarten Enrichment

Old Union Nursery School, which is located at the corner of Brookhaven and Rose Valley Roads,offers a Kindergarten Enrichment Program for AM and PM Kindergarten Students. Our morning program starts at 9:15 and ends at 12:10 when the bus arrives for pick up to Kindergarten. Our afternoon program starts at 12:00 when the students get dropped off from Kindergarten and ends at 3:00. Our program runs Monday through Friday and your child may attend two, three, four or all five days a week.

This program will expand the kindergarten experience, by offering enriched activities. Our program focuses on the beginning reading, writing, and math skills that will prepare your student for first grade. Additionally, offering one-on-one support in any area of difficulty your child may be experiencing. We also learn beginning Spanish and do science experiments. Kindergarten Enrichment will encourage your child to develop skills in a small group setting at his or her level of readiness. The class will be held upstairs in one of our regular classrooms, so the child will be separated from the regular nursery school students.

Any child attending kindergarten in the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District may be bused from Old Union to their school. If you are outside of the Wallingford-Swarthmore District, you will be responsible for providing your child’s transportation. All children will need to bring a lunch to eat before or after getting on or off the bus to their school. Children who attend Kindergarten Enrichment are eligible to attend our Before and After Care. It runs from 7:30 – 9:15 and 3:00 – 5:30.

Three Days:$332 per month for 10 months September - June

Four Days:$376 per month for 10 months September - June

Five Days: $428 per month for 10 months September - June
