A happy relaxed atmosphere prevailed all day and the weather remained dry making conditions very pleasant if a mite chilly in this airy venue, where the welcome and catering were nothing short of splendid!
BIS the black Shar-Pei, Jimmy Choo with Loopang. Super for size type make, shape and balance, in excellent coat and hard condition, well shaped head and eye. A charming character, simply a joy to watch on the move with no exaggerations. RBIS brown Dobermann Ch Woodbriar Luciano. Great showman, going just as well as in the breed with great strength and impulsion. BPIS Squiretime Princess, blue roan Cocker only six months old but obviously a born show girl! So well conformed, never putting a paw wrong on the move reaching out and covering ground looking as if she could go all day. Most exciting RBPIS
and close up, the Min Bull Terrier Quayardson Sir FreddyMin Bull Terrier,who made sure that he was the centre of attention both by his excellence of make, shape and movement as well as his voice! Strongly built, beautifully made, seemingly never to tire, so sound and impressive on the move.
BVIS Amblelight Parhelia. Lovely almost ten year old Welsh Springer bitch, in excellent coat and condition. So well conformed all through with good layback of shoulder and the best of firm fronts. Very sound and positive on the move with her free enduring parallel stride. RBVIS the Lakeland Lady Jelliroll Mercedes, utterly charming and so beautifully presented. It is said that every dog has its day and this, sadly, was not hers. She obviously hated the whole thing and refused to use her tail although she actually moved very soundly with good reach in profile.

He was my RBIS at Penzance last year when he was typically fearless, alert and energetic. This time he willingly did all asked of him but, for reasons of his own, just seemed lacking in the all important enthusiasm, being on tiptoe with anticipation and quickness of movement. BAVNSCT
