NOTES TO PARENTS - (for the refrigerator door)
1. MAIL: You can send mail to your child - c/o Summer Music Camp, Presser
Hall, 525 S. Main Street, Ohio Northern University, Ada, OH 45810.
2. PHONES: Camp Office: 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. - 419/772-2150
Cell Phones: Not all cell phones will work in Ada. The most reliable is Verizon.
There are NO direct to dorm phones.
3. DESSERT: *******NEW******
CAMP DESSERT and AWARDS:
The dessert will be at 6:30 PM FRIDAY, June 19 at McIntosh Center. There is no banquet this year. The dessert is at no cost, and awards will be given out.
4. ON FRIDAY, JUNE 19, you are encouraged to come between 5:30 and 6:30 to load your child's belongings in your vehicle prior to the dessert and concert. Otherwise, campers can get their things immediately after the concert. Make sure they do not leave anything. They must check out with a counselor and turn in both their dorm room key and any instruments or equipment belonging to ONU. (Lost keys will be charged $100.00)
All campers must leave Friday night, as there will be no overnight accommodations available.
5. CAMP CONCERTS:
The concert for jazz ensemble, show choir, and other small ensembles will be held at 7:30p.m.
Thursday, June 18 in the Freed Center. You are welcome to attend; no tickets are required for
this performance.
The final camp concert for the full band, orchestra, choir, and combined piece with all
campers, will start at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 19. It will be in the Freed Center for the
Performing Arts. The concert is free, but we need a head count. Please return your seat
reservation requests prior to the Friday concert.
6. CAMP CD: A professional recording company will be recording both camp concerts. An order form for these items is included. The checks for these orders are to be made out directly to Distinctive Audio. They can be turned in at check-in or at either concert.
CAMP DVD: Video of the Thursday and Friday night concerts will be available to order on the night of the concerts. Checks should be made to Zack Voll. DVD’s take longer to produce, so you should allow four to six weeks for delivery.
