Ohio Is a Swing State to Lift the Nation Back Into Place

Below is a summary of prophetic words from our 50 State Tour gathering in Middletown, Ohio on October 2 and 3, 2003. This was a powerful prophetic gathering! Chuck Pierce, Dutch Sheets and Barbara Yoder were the leaders in prophetic ministry.

Ohio is a swing state to lift the nation back into place.
God is going to catch the state up quickly. There will be war in the heavenly realms.
Ohio is a sign post. Suddenly things will change. Ohio will come from the back of the pack to the front.
It is time for Ohio to pick up the sword to overcome and break the religious spiritual stronghold over us. The prophetic breaker anointing will be a battering ram to shift the state.
Apostolic order will come into place. Our nation depends upon the movement of God in our state.
Fire to purify is coming. Much iniquity is to be dealt with. A radical church in Ohio is being birthed.
A great buzzing has started.
Columbus must receive a pioneer anointing.
Cincinnati will be volatile.
Cleveland, revival is at the door.
Eagles again will fly as the bird of war.
A new thing is birthed.
Lack of personal breakthroughs have hindered Ohio. Transitions are coming from unbelief, idols, fear, complacency.
A great restructuring to the enemy’s camp is happening. Confusion is being brought to the enemy. Ancient seeds of darkness are about to be undone.
The distrust that was birthed 25 years ago is being healed. Again the heart of the father and the heart of the children will turn to each other. There will be supernatural reconciliation.
Dayton will come to a new weightiness! There will be a breaking of false covenants and a building of new covenants. As the Wright brothers flew from Dayton, so a repair between brothers will bring a flying. The free masonry spirit root in Dayton will be taken by the axe.
Ohio will go through the process of Travail, Conceive, Birth, Refine, to Restore our joy. We will RUN WITH THE HORSES! Surprises will happen. A new sense of order is coming in the state.
Iniquitous patterns are broken! We will be in our places.
In 2004 national election Ohio will become a deciding force. There will be a breakthrough in revelation of God's word. Energy from heaven is released. The revelatory sword of the Lord is going to do surgery on the state of Ohio. The outcome of the presidential election is going to be somehow determined by what takes place in Ohio!

A Brief Overview of Ohio:

First explored for France by Sieur de la Salle in 1669, the Ohio region became British property after the French and Indian Wars.

The Iroquois, Miami, Erie, Wyandotte and Ottawa Indian tribes were indigenous to the Ohio region. The 1790s saw severe fighting with the Native tribes against the French, the English, the new American settlers, as well as against each other for the land in Ohio.

Ohio was acquired by the U.S. after the Revolutionary War in 1783. In 1788, the first permanent settlement was established at Marietta, capital of the Northwest Territory. In 1803 Ohio joined the Union as the 17th state.

Early settlement in the state was diverse and has typified the American “melting pot.” From its population have come individuals who have helped to shape the history of their state, as well as affect the US and even the world. A few well known citizens of the state are:

Seven U.S. presidents .
Tecumseh , 1768-1813, Indian Chief for the Shawnee Tribe. Tecumseh had great ability as an organizational leader and is considered one of the outstanding Native Americans in American history.
William T. Sherman , 1820–91, a graduate of West Point and a Civil War General. On May 5, 1864, he marched his army of close to 100,000 men into Georgia followed up by his March to the Sea.
John Chapman , 1774–1845, who traveled the land to promote orchard tree plantings. He is better known as Johnny Appleseed. For 40 plus years Johnny Appleseed continued to wander up and down OH, IN, and PA, taking care of his forest nurseries, pruning and caring for them. He helped hundreds of settlers to establish orchards of their own.
Thomas Alva Edison , 1847 - 1931, inventor of the phonograph, the incandescent light bulb, and many other devices that make our lives fuller and simpler, was born in Milan, Ohio.
Orville Wright, 1871-1948 and Wilbur Wright, 1867-1912. The two brothers developed the first effective airplane.
John Glenn, 1921 - the present, was the first American to orbit the earth.
