  3. Joint Resolution – Holiday Buy Local Challenge. Proposed Joint Resolution 2010-7 challenging citizens to join the Ogden City Council and Mayor Godfrey in doing holiday shopping within Ogden City limits. (Adopt resolution – voice vote)

  2. Mount Lewis Community Plan. Proposed Ordinance 2010-35 amending the Ogden City General Plan by approving and adopting a new Section 14.G Mt. Lewis Community Plan. (Continue public hearing – voice vote)
  3. Mt. Lewis Community Plan as recommended by Planning Commission.
  4. Mt. Lewis Community Plan with City Council changes.
  1. Reports from Planning Commission:

a.Street Vacation at 530 West and 600 West between 2nd Street and 300 North. Proposed Ordinance 2010-36 vacating a portion of 530 West between Second Street and 300 North; vacating small portions of 600 West between Second Street and 300 North; quit claiming the property within the vacated portion of said street to the abutting property owners as their interests may appear; reserving a right-of-way for all utilities that may now exist in said portion of such street; and directing the City Recorder to record this ordinance in the office of the County Recorder. (Set/not set public hearing for December 7, 2010 – voice vote)

  1. Reports from Administration:

a.Budget Opening. Proposed Ordinance 2010-37 amending the budget and Capital Improvement Plan for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011 by transferring $38,375.00 from CIP Future Account to the Field House Project (Project Number PK107). (Accept Public Input; Adopt/not adopt ordinance – roll call vote)

b. Junction Hotel Project:

i.Proposed Resolution 2010-22 declaring the intention of Ogden City, Utah, to issue Industrial Revenue Bonds to be used to finance the construction of a hotel and related improvements for Kevin S. Garn, an individual,or any related entity or company thereof (collectively, the “Borrower”) with respect to its hotel project; authorizing the issuance and sale of such bonds in the principal amount of not to exceed $9,000,000; establishing conditions which must be met at or prior to the issuance of the revenue bonds; providing for the reimbursement from the proceeds of such bonds of expenditures for the project; providing for a public hearing and for publication of a notice of the public hearing; and related matters.
