Declaration of Candidacy
Officials Advisory Committee – Due April 27, 2018
Members of the FHSAA Officials Advisory Committee are officials who have been elected by their primary officials association. The committee is composed of 28 members, one official from each administrative section in each of the seven sanctioned sports in which officials are registered by the FHSAA. This committee meets annually to review the officials program and make recommendations for changes if any, to the FHSAA Board of Directors.
Candidates for the Officials Advisory Committee election must be FHSAA officials in good standing, be registered in the same sport as the seat for which they are being nominated, and be nominated by their primary local officials association. Each local officials association may nominate one official for each sport in which they are sanctioned by the FHSAA.
I have read the above description of the mission of the Officials Advisory Committee and therefore wish to have my name added to the ballot. In doing so, I am stating that I will represent the officials for the betterment of the program. I will refrain from attempting to gain an advantage for my program and will share information received with officials, whom I represent, for their input.
Additionally, I understand the requirements of traveling to the designated location for the annual meeting, for which I will be reimbursed by the FHSAA for approved expenses.
