NOTE: SASL Game officials game fees:- / Referee with one or two ARs $85 & ARs $55 each / Referee with no ARs $100
  1. Players MUST have a player pass to play. ONLYthe League can authorize (by email) a player to play without a pass. No Pass - No Play.
  2. Goalkeeper can be 25 years old (Over-30s) / 35 years old (Over-40s) / 45 years old (0ver-50s) and will have a special buff-coloured pass. Cannot play in the outfield.
  3. * At scheduled start time if a team has at least 7 players, REFEREEMUSTstart game with the 7 players. Team CANNOT hold up game waiting for additional players.
  4. * If a team is late or not ready to start play after 10 minutes from the scheduled start time, the team present can request referee to cancel game and report this to the SASL in his game supplemental report. REFEREE MUST COMPLY and is paid FULL FEE. Referee can only cancel game at the 10 minute mark at a team's request.
  5. * Referee MUST CANCEL GAME if team(s) is not ready to start play at 20 minute mark. Game CANNOTBE STARTED20 minutes after the scheduled start time. REFEREE MUST COMPLY and IS PAIDFULL FEE. Referee MUST report cancellation to SASL in game supplemental report.
  6. * If there is double header game immediately after the first game, the first gamemust end no later than 10 minutes before second game. If this occurs, the game time may have to be shortened.
  7. If referee, town or private club inspects field and rules field unplayable, referee is paid HALF FEE.
  8. If a game is cancelled for any of the above, the home team or the team present shall pay the referee.
  9. Substitutions are UNLIMITED and may be made by both teams on any FIFA Laws of the Game stoppage.
  10. REFEREES MUST REPORT THE TIME THE GAME STARTS. IF GAME STARTS LATE, REFEREE MUST INDICATE WHY.
