Sub:- XII Finance Commission-Improvement of quality of school education.
In terms of GO(Rt) No 181/08/Edn dated 8/1/08, Government of Kerala have accorded Administrative sanction for Rs 52.26 Crore for the scheme “Improvement of quality of school education” with the Grant in Aid of XII Finance Commission.
As per the G.O your school is seen included in the project. In this connection the following information may be furnished to Audit on or before 15/04/2013 to verify the facts/figures in advance before the Audit party visits your school for physical verification.The reply may be sent via e mail in the following address.

i. Year in which Higher Secondary Course started functioning in your school.
ii. Whether the school is having science batch with physics,chemistry, botany and zoology
iii. Whether the school is having batches of computer science and computer application
iv. The number of students studied in each batch and pass percentage during the period from 2006-07 to 2009-10 and 2012-13
v. Whether a laboratory building exist in the school before the grant in aid of XII FC received. If not, what was the arrangement to impart practical training to the students.
vi. Whether a library building exist in the school before the implementation of the XII Finance Commission scheme. If not, what was the arrangement for reading and issue of library books.
vii. Whether a building for 4 laboratories (physics,botany,chemistry&zoology) constructed during the period from 2006-07 to 2009-10 with the grant in aid of XII Finance Commission. If not, specify the construction namely, classroom, compound walls or any other constructions.
viii. Whether the school authorities were consulted by local self government institutions (panchayat/corporation/municipality) before the preparation of plan & estimate
ix. Whether a building for library constructed in the school
x. Whether doors and windows of lab and library building were fitted with quality materials.
xi. Whether the lab building is equipped with electricity ,wash basins, storage facilities and working table/dissection table arranged in such a way to do the practicals
xii. Whether the school constructed Lab using fund by State Government/Other Agencies during the period 2006-07 to 2012-13 If so, details thereof may be furnished.
