ORDER UNDER SECTION 7(1) OF THE RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT, 2005.
Shri Sultanahmed N. Chodhary, E-101, Sukh Sagar Residency, 80 Fit Pandesara GIDC Road, Pandesara, Surat -394 210 has made an application dated 17.06.2014 addressed to the CPIO, O/O Commissioner of Central Excise, Ahmedabad-III, Gujarat which was received by this office on 12.09.2014. The applicant is seeking information parawise are 1) Provide the information for the post of Sepoy in Central Excise ,Customs and Service Tax , All over India Commissionerate in Annexure-A .2) Vacancy for appointment on compassionate ground is being carried forward in Next year or otherwise by each Commissionerate . If the vacancies are being carried forward than why the pending applications are not considered. 3) percentages of vacancies are based on sanctioned strength or on the strength of vacancies arises during the year. 4) information provided in Annexure B . 5) procedure being followed for considerations of application on compassionate ground 6) appointment in the cadre of sepoy on Compassionate ground is on as per the provision laid down by Govt. of India and if not , the order /instructions of Govt. of India or CBEC which restrict the appointment on compassionate ground may be informed. 7) Information for the All over India Commissionerate may also be provided in as per Annexure – C .
2. The information in respect of point’s No. 1 to 7 are as under:-

Point No. 2 and 3 :- Not pertain to this office .
Point No. 4. Details of application received is submitted as per enclosed Annexure-B.
Point No. 5. After receipt of application for compassionate appointment, applicant’s case placed in the Committee for Compassionate appointment of Commissionerate and recommended his case to Central Committee. Then after, case of all the applicant’s recommended by Commissionerate of Ahmedabad Zone placed in the Central Committee Meeting of Ahmedabad Zone and the central committee recommended the name of app0licant for appointment on compassionate ground.
Point No. 6 and 7 :- Not pertain to this office .
3. If the applicant is aggrieved with the information supplied, an appeal against this decision may be preferred in terms of Section 19(1) of the Right to Information Act, 2005 to Shri Milind Gawai, Appellate Authority, Additional Commissioner, Central Excise, 2nd Floor, Customs House, Navrangpura, and Ahmedabad within a period of 30 days from the receipt of the order.
