Herman Hooten, MSW Health Equity and Inclusion Travel Stipends
Students
UUHS students in good standing are eligible to apply for travel stipends to attend and/or present their work at a professional meeting that addresses health equity/health disparities. Priority is given for students who are presenting. Please submit your request and budget at least 2 weeks before travel is anticipated. Awards are in the range of $500-$750 ($500 domestic, $750 International). Travel costs will be reimbursed based upon actual costs after return from travel.
UUHS students who identify as under-representedare eligible to apply for travel stipends to present their work at a professional meeting. Please submit your request and budget at least 2 weeks before travel is anticipated. Awards are in the range of $500-$750 ($500 domestic, $750 International). UUHS students who identify as under-represented and are in need of support for residency interviews are eligible to apply for travel stipends. Please submit your request and budget at least 2 weeks before travel is anticipated. Awards are in the range of $500-$750 ($500 domestic, $750 International). Travel costs will be reimbursed based upon actual costs after return from travel.
Non-UUHS students who identify as under-represented and are in need of support for residency interviews at UUHS are eligible to apply for travel stipends. Please submit your request and budget at least 2 weeks before travel is anticipated along with your interview invitation. Awards are in the range or $500-$750 ($500 domestic, $750 International). Travel costs will be reimbursed based upon actual costs after return from travel.
Non-UUHS students who identify as under-represented and are scheduled for an Away Rotation at UUHS are eligible to apply for an Away Rotation travel stipend. Please submit your request and budget at least 2 weeks before travel is anticipated along with your invitation for the rotation. Awards are $2,000 and are intended to cover travel, housing, and food costs.
