Beginning July 10th, we have invited Rev. Anita Graham, a recent graduate of the Unity Urban Ministerial School in Detroit, to be our guest speaker on the second and fourth Sundaysof each month. Rev. Anita is a resident of Taylor and has been presenting lessons, classes, and workshops at several other Unity churches. We encourage you to come (and bring your family and friends) to hear her messages on the Unity Way of Life. We are grateful for her dedication to the Unity movement and we look forward to her Sunday talks.

We are offering a Prosperity Workshop with Rev. Anita as our instructor. She has presented this seminar at other churches and has received a great response from those attending. Her workshop shall be personal and practical, based upon the Unity teachings. Materials shall be provided.

Offered on a love-offering basis. All are invited.

It's time for Unity’s annual church picnic, which will be held in our beautiful Meditation Garden. Our local chefs will be firing up the bar-b-cue. So invite your family and friends and bring a dish for a day filled with fun, conversations, and maybe some games. You are in for a treat with Unity’s standard fare of Epicurean excellence!

Would you like to know more about a Labyrinth? Jan Longton shall present a workshop after the Sunday service called "Walking-the-Labyrinth”.

During the classroom portion of this workshop, Jan will present the history and purpose of the Labyrinth (see her essay below). For the second portion, Jan will lead the class outside for the experiential portion of the workshop: Walking our Labyrinth. This gratifying workshop shall be presented on a love offering basis. See you at the labyrinth.

Labyrinth - a difficult word to both say andspell! Though it appears as a maze with dead ends, it is NOT. A labyrinth is a wonderful, ancient transformational tool that can be used in many ways. It's a metaphor for life and can be used as a simple way to meditate or pray. As you walk along its twisting, turning path, you will reach the center in due time. Wherever you happen to be at any time in the labyrinth, the center is always in your sight.

The process is SO simple! There is no hurry to get to the center. On your journey inward, you are letting go of all the busyness or problems of everyday life. When you reach the center, you stay there for a while, feeling and basking in the presence of Spirit. You may pray or simply rest in the silence. When you are ready, you then retrace your steps with a spirit of gratitude and thanksgiving in your heart.
