3the annual leave reserve is formed to enable employees to exercise their right to an annual leave; the duration of the annual leave is established according to Resolution No. 941 of 18 July 2003 of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania – the duration of the annual leave for chief researchers, senior researchers, researchers and junior researchers – 56 calendar days (annual leave reserve – 56*0.7=39.2 working days), others – 28 calendar days (annual leave reserve – 28*0.7=19.6 working days),

4social insurance contributions rate may be of 31.70%, 31.18% or 30.98%. The social insurance contribution rate is established for an institution depending on the group of accident and occupational disease social insurance contribution rate that the institution belongs to. Institutions were classified into groups according to Resolution No. 9-2 of 16 December 2010 of the Board of the State Social Insurance Fund, acting in accordance with the Law on the approval of the State social insurance fund budget for 2011 No. XI-1212 of 9 December 2010, and the Methodology of assigning policyholders to groups of accident and occupational diseases social insurance contribution rates approved by Resolution No. 1368 of 20 December 2005 of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania.

5according to the Law on the Guarantee fund of the Republic of Lithuania contributions of 0.1–0.2 % to the Guarantee fund are paid by all legal persons, except State budgetary institutions, municipal budgetary institutions, political parties, trade unions and religious communities and societies, also branches and representative offices of the units established in Member States of the European Union or other States of the European Economic Area and subject to insolvency proceedings according to the laws of those States, registered in the Republic of Lithuania in the manner set forth by laws from all the payments to persons working according to employment contracts from which compulsory State social insurance contributions are calculated.
