IS HAVING THEIR ANNUAL VOLUNTEER BANQUET AT ROMY’S, HOLIDAY INN, KELLYLAKE, WI. DINNER WILL BE AT 5 PM. SO ARRIVE EARLY TO GET A SEAT AND SOME DRINKS AND ENJOY THE DELICIOUS FOOD.
With the Holiday fast approaching, that means school will be back in session, so watch out for those flashing lights, stop and watch out for little kids. Always be cautious, kids move fast.

Seems I Just wrote the “Focus” letter last week. June & July surely sped by and Aug is soon upon us.
Joyce & I thank all our “helpers” in the kitchen and the Big Room! If not for their help we could not start the games at 1pm.
Also, a big thank you to those who bring in the treats for afternoon snacks!! The cakes and sweet rolls were Super! Happy Birthday to those celebrating in Aug/Sept.
If you would like to join us for a great meal, the cost is $4.00 and you can let us know the day before.

* August is “Full Moon” month= Barley Moon, symbol of harvest, agriculture, bounty, fertility, marriage, and good health. Also known as Sturgeon moon in Americas backwoods tradition.
* Fair Time August 16-20, 2017 in Gillett, as well as canning, picking berries and clearing out the garden.
