Serac re-positions its Health and Beauty offer with Cronos, Hélios and Métis, 3 new filling and capping machines.

Serac’s outstanding reputation in the filling and capping sector was largely gained in the foodstuff market, in particular, dairy products. Over the last few years however, its presence in the Health and Beauty sector has not gone unnoticed.

In 1996, Serac made its entry into the cosmetic and pharmaceutical markets with its purchase of the Spanish company Hispamec. In 1998, Serac’s Spanish branch was officially created to take over development of these markets.

Today, the 30-strong workforce has seen its revenue multiplied by 5 over the past 10 years and now represents 15% of Serac Group activity.

Companies active in the Health and Beauty sector are always concerned about clean filling conditions. A great number of them have concluded that Serac’s knowledge of aseptic milk and beverages filling confirms this French manufacturer’s expertise.

A complete line

Both linear and rotary filling machines, with jog or continuous movement, the offer covers a wide performance range with up to 400 containers per minute. All container types, glass and plastic, can be filled and capped with a multitude of capping possibilities (screw-on, flip-top, directional, reducer, lids, sprays, pumps…). Whether the products are liquid, foamy or viscous, the Héra, Gaïa, Cronos, Hélios and Métis machines offer a wide range of solutions to meet market requirements for multi-purpose and adaptable machines.

Thanks to its experience in the filling of shampoos, lotions, creams, perfumes, nail polish, polish removers, as well as drinkable and injectable and other drop solutions, Serac offers a range of services, one of which includes systems in compliance with ATEX standards, and products developed according to GMP and CFR21.
