OBHS Events and Activities Price List - 2018

Rallies

Open to all members – although on occasion, a rally will be suitable for a certain expertise level as opposed to all levels.

Flatwork Rally £15.00 per pony

Show Jumping Rally £15.00 per pony

Cross Country Rally £30.00 per pony

Rally Plus

Rallies taught by more senior instructors and often only open to members who have achieved a specified level in order that they are able to participate effectively and safely in the session. Alternatively, these prices may apply if the venue is particularly costly to OBHS to hire.

DressageRallyPlus £25.00 per pony

Show Jump RallyPlus £25.00 per pony

Cross Country Rally Plus £40.00 per pony

Team Training Sessions

These sessions are by invitation only and are for a specific purpose, such as Team Selection or training for Team Members. Prices will be published for each session as appropriate.

Horse and Pony Care – from 22 January 2018, these sessions will be £5 per person per session.

Team Entry Fees

In 2017, OBHS paid a little under £3,000 in team entry fees – these included Horse and Pony Care, Area Competitions, Regional Competitions, Championships, Interbranch Show Jumping at Middlegrove, Interbranch Show Jumping at Hickstead plus all other Team entry fees.

It is unlikely that this will be sustainable in 2018, so please do be aware we will be asking Team Members for a contribution towards some of their entry fees.

To put this into some perspective:

  • Miscellaneous Team entry fees e.g. 70 cm SJ team at another Branch event – OBHS will pay this cost
  • Championship Entry Fees – if you get to the Champs or Regional Finals – OBHS will pay your Entry Fees – you deserve this for your success!
  • Other competitions – we will give more details as the year progresses. It is likely you will be asked to pay a contribution towards the fees – and definitely not the whole cost. The amount will depend upon OBHS finances – especially after the Hunter Trials and we will update you as soon as possible.

Friday Night Club

In 2018 we will be holding 14 Friday Night Club sessions. These will be at a cost of £50 payable in advance (approximately £3.60 per session) or £7 payable per evening.

For those choosing to pay for individual sessions, PLEASE bring the correct money, as the instructors will not be able to give change and we can’t run a credit system for the next session if you only have a £10 note!!
