RESUMPTION FOR THE 2006/2007 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Senate of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, has approved that the University should resume for the 2006/2007 academic session on Saturday, November 4, 2006.
The highlights are as follows:
November 6, 2006 - Harmattan Semester begins.
On-Line Registration and payment of charges opens for all students. Fresh students come into residence.
November 7 – 12, 2006 - Screening/Verification and Orientation Programme.
November 12, 2006 - Returning Undergraduate and Postgraduate students come into
Residence. Orientation Weekends.
November 13, 2006 - Harmattan Semester Lectures begin.
November 17, 2006 - MATRICULATION
- On-Line Registration Ends.
INSTRUCTIONS TO PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS FOR THE 2006/2007 ACADEMIC YEAR
Candidates who have been offered provisional admission into the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board are advised to check their names from the list of admitted candidates from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the Obafemi Awolowo University Website (www.oauife.edu.ng) or at the Obafemi Awolowo University Liaison Office in Lagos (9, Methodist Church Street, Opebi, Ikeja).
You are required to purchase a SCRATCH CARD for the fees for your category after the clearance at the admissions office and pay it On-Line using O.A.U e-portal. Procedure for payment can be found at the back of the scratch card. The scratch cards are available from any of the underlisted University’s Bankers:

II. OTHER REQUIREMENTS FOR 2006/2007 REGISTRATION OF FRESHMEN
Original and four (4) photo copies each of credentials including Birth Certificate/Sworn. Declaration of Age. Fresh affidavits will not be accepted. Each candidate will be required to submit his/her admission letter later.
III. SCREENING OF FRESH STUDENTS
All students are to report in the University for screening exercise at their various Faculties. They should come with their various documents listed above as well as the scratch card relating to the payments of the charges listed above. Any freshman who fails to report for the screening exercise within the specific period will be deemed to have forfeited his/her admission offer.

You are required to purchase a SCRATCH CARD for the fees for your category and pay it On-Line using Obafemi Awolowo University e-Portal.
Students with extra semester are required to obtain clearance from their Heads of Departments before purchasing their scratch cards.
Students should access the e-portal using their scratch cards from any Cyber Café off campus or on Campus as well as the Computer Centre and the INTECU.
Apart from fresh undergraduate students, final year students are also given priority for accommodation. A few spaces may be available; the list of those that are allocated such spaces will be available at Obafemi Awolowo University e-portal.
