POOL RULES AND REGULATIONS
YOU SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK
Adult Members and Children are required to observe all the Rules and Regulations. The Advisory Board and the Oakwood Homeowner’s Association Manager are responsible for enforcing the Rules without prejudice. Failure to comply with these Rules shall be sufficient cause for IMMEDIATE SUSPENSION of Pool Privileges for the offending member (remember you are responsible for your guest).
Anyone defacing the pool, pool area, furniture, equipment or restrooms will be banned from the pool and will have to pay for any and all damage incurred.
SECTION – A
1) All Members 18 years of age and older will be considered full Adult Members.
2) Children must be at least 14 years of age and be able to swim to be allowed at the pool alone without a parent, authorized sitter or other adult member. A parent, authorized sitter or other adult member must accompany children under 14 years of age even if they can swim and it is the parents (authorized sitter or other adult member) responsibility to supervise the child at all times. This is the law and we must abide by this law.
3) Children using/riding bikes, scooters, skateboards, and roller blades/skates are to park them outside the pool gates not blocking the pool entrances.
4) The cost of any property damage will be charged to the responsible Member.
5) Pool Hours and Rules will be posted at the Pool each year.
6) All Homeowners must sign the Pool Rules and Regulations Waiver and be current on the Oakwood Homeowner’s Association Yearly Dues before acquiring Pool Keys and/or using the Pool Area and Kiddy Area.
SECTION – B
1) Children that are NOT potty trained ARE NOT ALLOWED in the Pool or Kiddy Area UNLESS they are wearing SWIM DIAPERS.
2) Persons with skin rashes, sores, abrasions or infections of the skin shall not be allowed in the Pool or Kiddy Area.
3) No Pets allowed in the Pool Area at any time. (Please do not bring your pets to the pool and fasten them to the outside fence).
4) No one is allowed, by any means of access, in the pool or pool area after pool hours. No Swimming after pool closes. Anyone caught in the pool or pool area after pool hours will be suspended from the pool for an indefinite period of time.
5) No Running or Pushing is allowed in the Pool or Kiddy Area.
6) NO DIVING, Back Dives, Flips, Cartwheels, Handstands or Horseplay is allowed in the Pool, Pool Area or Kiddy Area at any time.
7) No Alcoholic Beverages are allowed in the Pool, Pool Area or Kiddy Area.
8) No Gum is allowed in the Pool, Pool Area or Kiddy Area.
9) No Glass or Breakable objects are allowed in the Pool, Pool Area or Kiddy Area.
10) No Profanity.
11) Proper Swim Attire is required at all times in the Pool or the Pool Area.
12) Both entry gates to the pool area are to be kept closed and locked at all times, unless entering or exiting the area.
13) The restrooms are provided as a courtesy to the homeowners. All young children must be accompanied to the restrooms. PLEASE help keep the restrooms clean. Remember, they are your restrooms. The Association has the right to close the restrooms at any time they feel it is necessary, as a result of abuse or health factors.
14) No SMOKING inside the pool area.
15). NO water balloons, they clog up the pump and it will burn the motor.
Section – C
Guests
1) A Member of the Oakwood Homeowner Association must accompany all Guests. Please limit the number of guests (adults or children) at any one time.
2) Members will be responsible for Guest’s behavior and safety.
3) House Guests have the same privileges as Members at the Pool.
I/We, Owner/s of Lot ______in Oakwood Subdivision, agree to the rules above and understand there is no lifeguard on duty and we swim at our own risk.
I/We will not hold the President, Advisory Board, or Oakwood Homeowner’s Association responsible for any accidents that may occur. I also understand that if I lose my key, the cost of replacing the key will be $20.00. Further, I understand that non-payment of dues and/or violation of any of these posted rules may result in pool privileges being revoked either permanently or for a period of time set forth by the HOA Board of Directors.
