NYE PTA Fun Fair is coming September 28th

We need your help!

As the Fun Fair approaches, there are many ways in which our Nancy Young families can help to make this event a huge success! If you’d like to help out, here are some suggested areas where we need YOU:

  • Mystery Bags – if you happen to start cleaning out some drawers or closets and find some new UNUSED small toys, we would love to use them for our fabulous Mystery Bags. We are currently collecting small toys, like the ones found in Happy Meals and all of those lovely birthday party “Goodie bags” Other items we are looking for:
  • Candy – Dum Dum suckers, wrapped Starbursts, Tootsie Rolls, etc…
  • Pencils, erasers, boxes of crayons and other small school supplies
  • Stickers
  • Bouncy balls

***Mystery bag items can be dropped off at school or brought to 2598 Kendridge Lane – just leave on the front porch and make sure to mark your bag “Fun Fair Mystery Bags”

  • Classroom Raffle Baskets – Each classroom will have the opportunity to put together a Classroom basket to be raffled off at the Fun Fair. This activity is strictly optional – but if your family would like to help out, here are some items that will be needed:
  • Cellophane Wrap
  • Ribbon
  • Gift Cards – Stores, restaurants, movies, etc…
  • Candy
  • Fun Fair Games VOLUNTEER – The Fun Fair is going to have some awesome games that will be run by our Nancy Young families. If you or your family would like to volunteer for an hour or more – we need YOU! We will need at least 40 volunteers to make this event a success! Games will be easy to run and a lot of FUN!High School students are welcome and this will count towards their service hours. If you’d like to help with games, please contact Brenda Montemayor at .
  • Concessions – A Fun Fair would not be complete without FOOD! So, we are asking our NYE families to consider donating concession items for the Fun Fair. These items can be dropped off at school – please label them “Fun Fair Concessions” - We are looking for the following:
  • Cases of pop (Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Root Beer, etc…)/water/juice boxes
  • Boxes of individual bags of chips – Doritos, Cheetos, Fritos, etc…

If you are interested in helping out in any of these areas, please contact Robin Schoolman at for more information. Have a suggestion? Want to make a Donation???

We’d love to hear from you!
