Points of interest:

  1. Entry Fee is $250, due at the time of the Coaches Meeting. This fee will cover the cost of awards and officials.
  2. A drawing in the coaches meeting will determine who and when duals will occur Friday night.
  3. 40 dual meets will be wrestled in two days on four mats, 16 duals on Friday night and 24 on Saturday. All four mats will be used throughout the tournament with 1st and 3rd place duals in both tournaments starting at 4:30 on Saturday.
  4. Each dual is to last one-and-half hours. It is important that line-ups are turned in to the scorer’s table promptly before each dual if the time table is to be kept.
  5. Teams are encouraged to bring extra wrestlers and substitute in and out of their line-ups as they wish.
  6. If a wrestler fails to make the same weight class on Saturday as he did on Friday, there is no penalty other than that wrestler must now wrestle at the new weight or one weight class above. Other tournaments would have disqualified that particular wrestler from further competition.
  7. If a team does not have a full line-up, an “extra” wrestler from another team may fill that spot and wrestle after forfeit points are awarded to the correct team.
  8. A drawing in the coaches meeting will be used if more than one team has an “extra” wrestler wishing to fill the same spot in the line-up on another team.
  9. If a team has an “extra” wrestler being used on another team, he may be withdrawn at any time to be used in his own team’s line-up without question.
  10. In the event of a tie, the NFHS rulebook will be used to determine the tie-breaker of all dual meets wrestled.
  11. Concessions will be available.
