**NOT nut-free, however, when contacted, had the following information: “I am not a peanut free facility, but I do bake peanut/tree nut free…I am very careful about the peanut/tree nut allergies. I do have customers that ONLY come to me for their children with severe allergies. Every box brought in from my business will be marked clearly that it is from me and the ingredients.”

**Due to the possibility of cross-contamination with nut residue, these items should NOT be brought into a classroom with any child with a known nut allergy. If you choose to utilize treats from this provider, PLEASE check with the School Nurse at (515) 987-5193, Ext. 6304, before placing an order to be sure that your child’s classroom is not a “NUT FREE ZONE”** Items from this producer may be acceptable on a case by case basis.

**NOT nut-free

This is a DAIRY and GLUTEN FREE Bakery, so wonderful to address those types of allergies. This is what the owner had to say about her baking practices for those with nut allergy concerns: “We are a dedicated gluten/dairy free bakery, however, we do use almond milk (we do sub soy milk for people with nut issues), and we do use peanut butter for cookies and frosting…we do have a lot of people who can’t do nuts of any kind in our bakery all the time, but I am always very clear that we do use nut products.”

**Due to the possibility of cross-contamination with nut residue, these items should NOT be brought into a classroom with any child with a known nut allergy. **Area Hy-Vee stores with bakeries, Fareway, Dahls, Wal-Mart, Target, Great American Cookie Company, Scratch Cupcakery, etc., also have bulk-produced or bakery produced treats.
