NUS LOGISTICS SCHOLARSHIP AGREEMENT

______(address and contact number)(hereinafter called the “SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT”).

NOW THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH as follows:

1.TheSCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT agrees:

(a)to read all the required subject modules under Operations and Supply Chain Managementas determined by the NUS BusinessSchool for the award of the BBA degree and/or BBA (Honours) degree;

(b)to complete an industrial attachment programme with the SPONSORING COMPANY(if required) between the months of May to July preceding the commencement of the year of study covered by the scholarship award. The duration of the industrial attachment programme shall be determined by the SPONSORING COMPANY;

(c)that upon the completion of the year of study covered by the scholarship award, the SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT shall be bonded to the SPONSORING COMPANY to serve out his bond for a total period of12 months (hereinafter called the “BOND PERIOD”);

(d)that the BOND PERIOD shall commence from the date of employment with the SPONSORING COMPANY.

(e)notwithstanding the foregoing provisions, in the event the SPONSORING COMPANY is unable for whatever reason to employ the SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT or should the SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT’s employment with the SPONSORING COMPANY be terminated by reason of the SPONSORING COMPANY’s restructuring or change in internal manpower requirements, the SPONSORING COMPANY may, at its discretion, discharge the SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT from his BOND PERIOD and all other liabilities associated with the Scholarship.

TheSPONSORING COMPANY hereby agrees to award to the

SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT the scholarship worth S$8000.00.

3.It is further agreed that

if the SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT’s behaviour during the school term brings ill repute to the University or School or the sponsor or causes his/her status in the University to be suspended or terminated, his/her award will be withdrawn at the discretion of the Dean of the Business School. He/She will be required to refund the total amount of S$8,000.00

if the SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT decides for whatever reason to discontinue with the Scholarship(either through changing area of study concentration or not fulfilling any of the terms and conditions listed in this agreement)during his term of study, or does not complete serving the BOND PERIOD,NUS shall be informed by the SPONSORING COMPANY and he/sheis to refund the total amount of S$8000.00.

Under both circumstances above, refund shall be made to NUS in one single payment of $8,000.00 and no later than one month from the date of termination of scholarship as determined by NUS.

Awards may not be made in any particularyear, at the discretion of SPONSORING COMPANY, if no applicants are deemed to be suitable.
