--PICTURES WANTED:Dear congregation, with the whole slew of new people we have been meeting at church and a church picture directory that is starting to show its age (and perhaps ours as well as our age), we would like to have a recent family picture from each of you that clearly labels who is who. That would be a great help. Also, be ready for a "name tag" Sunday where we can continue learning everyone's names. Thanks so much, Pastor Nate and Ang

--FROM THE COUNCIL: The consistory will be going around to all the members of the congregation over the next year to have visits over around the kitchen table. The point of these visits is to further build the godly fellowship of our congregation by encouraging each of us to grow in our faith in Christ and our commitment to Christ’s Church.

The first set of visits will take place on the weeks of November 7, 14, and 21. The consistory will visit

half of the congregation during this first 3 week session of visiting. If you receive a call from one of the elders, please make time to have these “Kitchen Table Visits.”

During the “Kitchen Table Visit” the conversation will be based around questions that the whole congregation will receive ahead of time. The questions will help us better understand Psalm 145, help us consider what we have to thank God for, and help us consider specific ways that we can bless our congregation and our community.

These visits are one of the most important ways an elder can fulfill his duty to care spiritually for the congregation, and give each member appropriate encouragement and guidance.

--FROM THE DEACONS: Thank you to the congregation for your giving this past month. We took in $15,349 towards our budget. This was a great month in giving and we hope we can continue this for the next couple months as well. By the end of November we need to have taken in $138,217 to meet only our local and classical budget. Currently we have taken in $94,790 which leaves us short by $43,427. Please continue to prayerfully consider this and your giving and support of our church. Together we can reach our goal. Thanks again for everyone’s financial support
