Kory Bonnema has returned to living at the Village in Sheldon.
During this morning’s worship service Jim and Angela Dekkers present their son Grady Jon to receive the covenant sign of baptism.May the Lord reveal himself again as we celebrate this sacrament together. And may it remind each one of us of our own baptism and the covenant promises that God has made with us.He promises to be our God, and reminds us that he has graciously chosen us, in Christ, to be is adopted children.
Next week we will hear the public profession of faith of Kortney Bonnema as she professes her sincere love for Jesus Christ and claims the promises that were sealed to her at her baptism. After Kortney’s profession of faith, the congregation is invited by Tim and Lori to join in the celebration with cake and refreshments after the service.
