NOTICE OF QUINCY HOUSING AUTHORITY BOARD OF

COMMISSIONERS’ MEETING

Finance

  1. Motion to approve a virtual net metering credit agreement with Blue Wave that represents a 25% discount to electric KWH pricing to be allocated to State Property electric bills. Total KWH off taking to be determined, but will not be more than 80% of QHA current state KWH consumption.

Maintenance/Mod

  1. Motion to amend and authorize the Contract Officer to execute an Amendment to the design contract with Nault Architects, Inc. for the Accessible Unit Conversions at West Acres in the amount of $1,720.00. This amendment is for obtaining a variance required by the City of Quincy for construction on a non-conforming lot.
  2. Motion to approve Final Payment to Healthy Air Solutions Contract # 2016-13 and approve the Certificate of Final Completion for the Air Conditioner Replacement at Tobin Towers, FISH # 243159. The Final Payment is in the amount of $2,803.00
  3. Motion to approve Final Payment to DC Construction Services and authorize the Contract Officer to approve the Certificate of Completion - Consolidated for the Painting of the North and South Stairwells at Pagnano Towers. The Final Payment is for the retainage of $750.00
  1. Motion to approve Final Payment to DC Construction Services and authorize the Contract Officer to approve the Certificate of Completion - Consolidated for the Painting of the Community Rooms at Pagnano Towers, O’Brien Towers and Drohan Apartments. The Final Payment is for the retainage of $865.00
  1. Motion to approve taking unit 59B Martensen Street off line indefinitely. The unit will be converted to a laundry facility to eliminate the current laundry located in the basement. The unit is also located above the boiler room and we receive numerous complaints of the excessive heat. This would allow QHA to secure the basement area for safety reasons and provide a more accessible facility.
