4. CONSIDER MINUTES OF THE LAST REGULAR MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 8, 2014.
5. PUBLIC COMMENT
6. OLD BUSINESS: None.
7. NEW BUSINESS:
(a) Consider a Resolution for the Springhill Airport for the CIP (Capital Improvement Plan) to LA DOTD Aviation FY 2015-2019.
(b) Consider authoring the Mayor to to enter into an agreement with LA DOTD for the State Project No. H.011262 Obstruction Removal-Phase I Survey at the Springhill Airport.
(c) Adopt a special ordinance entitled “AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING THAT PORTION OF 15TH STREET N. E. AND PAULA DRIVE AS SHOWN ON THE PLAT OF LAKEWOOD ESTATES SUBDIVISION FILED IN MAP BOOK 3 AT PAGE 97 PREVIOUSLY DEDICATED BUT WAS NEVER BUILT OR CONSTRUCTED AND AUTHORIZING CARROLL BREAUX, MAYOR, TO EXECUTE AN ACT FOR THAT PURPOSE”.
(d) Consider a Resolution entitled “Annual Certification of Compliance with State of Louisiana Off System Bridge Replacement Program”.
(e) Consider authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Aclara for the new computer system for the water department.
(f) Consider an engagement letter with Heard, McElroy, & Vestal, LLC CPA’s FYE June 30, 2014 audit.
(g) Consider the purchase of a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe for the Springhill Police Department.
(h) Consider the Police Chief’s recommendation to appoint Buford Vidrine to the Springhill Police Auxillary Force.
(i) Consider payment of the September 2014 bills totaling $94,720.09.
