This form is to be completed when there is an applicant(s) eligible for prior consideration or transfer

This form is to be completed when there is an applicant(s) eligible for prior consideration or transfer. Pursuant to the IFO Provisions in Article 21, Section A., Subd. 2 or Article 31, after reviewing the prior consideration/transfer candidate’s application, the search committee will use this form to make a recommendation to the Dean to:

  1. Hire the prior consideration/transfer applicant (attached to a complete Offeree Approval Form/Packet). If in agreement, the Dean will then forward the Prior Consideration/Transfer Form and Offeree Approval Form to Human Resources.

-OR-

  1. Review the entire pool of applicants for the position, with the prior consideration/transfer applicant. The Dean will then forward the Prior Consideration/Transfer Form to Human Resources to release the applicant pool to the search committee members.

Search Committee conducted “prior consideration” review (reviewed the candidate’s application PRIOR to looking at any other applications).
Search Committee conducted interview with candidate (other interviews not required/optional).
