NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2013
In accordance with the Rules of the Society and the Associations Incorporation Act 1981, members are advised that the Annual General Meeting of the Warrnambool & District Historical Society Inc will be held at
Mozart Hall, Gilles Street Warrnambool at 2.00pm on Sunday 15 September.
The Rules of the Society amended at a special meeting held on 27 November 2011 and effective from 3 February 2012, provide for a committee consisting of a President and up to eight other members. These rules state that a President shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting. This year four committee members retire and an additional member maybe elected to bring the committee to the full complement. Any retiring member shall be eligible for re-election.
The names of the members to retire at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting are:
President: Glenys Phillpot
Committee Members: Rosemary Isaac, Joanne Laity, Les O’Callaghan, Amanda King

Committee:5 positions (4 x 2 year term, 1 x 1 year term)
All nominations close at 4.00pmon Friday 23 August 2013, by which time nomination forms must be lodged with the Secretary. Nominations may be hand delivered to the Secretary, Warrnambool & District Historical Society Inc., PO Box 731, Warrnambool 3280.
A copy of the nomination form is provided with this notice.
Agenda for the Annual General Meeting will be forwarded prior to the meeting.
Membership is now due and payable. Please complete and return the attached membership form together with your payment.
