PL12/396  / Minutes – It was RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting held on 27TH March 2013 be approved for signature and were duly signed.
PL12/397  / Chairman's Announcements – The Chairman asked if all committee members had received the minutes from the meeting held with Liberty Property Trust (LPT) to discuss Phase 3.

PL12/143 - Anti Speeding Campaign
The new crossing patrol lights in Discovery Drive are not yet working. This has been brought to the attention of Kent County Council Highways (KCCH) for action. Noted.
PL12/284 - Neighbourhood Planning Presentation
The Parish Office has received the Neighbourhood Planning Presentation from The Campaign To Protect Rural England (CPRE).
It was agreed that this will be considered at a future Planning & Transportation Committee meeting. / Parish Office
PL12/373 - Meeting Held with KCCH
A reply has been sent to a resident who had written to the Parish Office with concerns over speeding and obstructive parking in Tower View and Discovery Drive. Noted.
PL12/374 - Street Lighting
A response has been sent to KCC supporting the new proposals for street lighting with the suggestion that Kings Hill be included in the Part Lighting Project. Noted.
PL12/375 - Retrofitting Project of Arriva Buses
A response has been sent to Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council supporting this project. Noted.
PL12/385 - Lack of Gritting in Victoria Drive
A reply has been sent to the resident concerning the lack of gritting in Victoria Drive. Noted.
PL12/390 - 2 Francis Lane, Kings Hill
A reply has been sent to the resident with concerns regarding the planning application for 2 Francis Road, Kings Hill. Noted.

PL12/416  / To receive update and discuss the ongoing lack of a pedestrian access from Fortune Way to the Waitrose store and agree actions.
An update was received concerning the lack of action taken by Waitrose to install a pedestrian access to the store.

Anti Speeding Campaign

An update was received concerning the final outcomes from Operation Race.
It was agreed that the Parish Office contact Kings Hill Residential Estate Management Company (KHREMC) to ascertain whether they are contributing to any speeding iniatives on Kings Hill. / Parish Office
PL12/419  / To discuss findings from the Speed Indicator Device and agree actions.
An update was given concerning the latest findings received from the Speed Indicator Device (SID).
It was agreed that the Parish Office would ask KHREMC if the SID could be located in Tower View near the Rolex building entrance in Jubilee Way. / Parish Office
PL12/420  / To discuss Kings Hill Parking Campaign and agree actions.
An update was received concerning the meeting held with KCCH. The Parish Office are waiting for an update from KCCH regarding trialling a Parking Campaign on Kings Hill It was RESOLVED that an e-mail will be sent to committee members once this information has been received. / Parish Office
A228 Kent Street Improvements
PL12/421  / To discuss the public consultation and agree actions.
It was RESOLVED that the Planning & Transportation Committee would like a formal pedestrian crossing within these improvements. / Parish Office
Tower View Bus Stop & Waiting Area
PL12/422  / To review and discuss plans for Bus Stop & Waiting Area and agree actions.
It was agreed that having reviewed the plans for the Bus Stop & Waiting Area the Parish Office would contact LPT to request that there be a 3 bay layover area on either side of Tower View.
