2.  Your Activities: After logging in, you can go to activities that you are registered for by selecting the activity from the pull-down menu (e.g., “Prob/Stat VA 04” or “Geometry S2004”) and clicking “Go to Activity”.

3.  Sending Email to Fellow Workshop Participants: If you go to the activity page (see #2 above), click “Members” to see the list of participants. You may send email to anyone on the list by checking the boxes in the “Chk” column, and then clicking “Send e-mail” (at the bottom of the page).

4.  Submitting Reports during the Workshop: Periodically during the workshop you will be asked to write and submit reports. You can do this by going to the activity page (see #2 above), clicking “Members”, and then clicking, e.g., “Report 1”, which will open a new window. While you are writing the report, you can click “Save Report”, in case you need to save it and return to it later. When the report is complete, you can click “Submit Report”.

5.  Final Workshop Survey: At the end of the workshop you will be asked to complete a survey about the workshop. You can do this by going to the activity page (see #2 above), clicking “Members”, and then clicking “Display activity postlist” and following the links to the survey.

6.  News, Including Workshop Website: After logging in, you may wish to browse the news by clicking “news” at the top of the page. For example, go to News à Math for various math news.

7.  Online Discussion Site: For ongoing discussions after this institute is over, go to http://www.catsbusters.org:8080/moodle_ms (Mathemoodle) and sign up for the course “AMSP Math Technology”, using the key amsp06tech. I believe your login and password for are the same as for the AMSP website, but if not, then you can establish a new account for yourself. This is not really a course, but a forum for online discussions.
