  • MBSA teams are not allowed to be on the Varsity Baseball field in the fall. We need to stay off of that field and we can't use the equipment in the fall.
  • Discussion about maintaining the JV Baseball field in the fall. We are able to use the JV fields in the fall but it really is not playable.
  • Mazar Field is available. We can use iton Sundayafternoons.
  • Tim Holmes is ok with us hiring an outside service to do the field maintenance. Tim feels we need to get estimates from contractors and get a quote on weekly estimates. Shane will call Tri-State Athletics. What is we have trouble with geese?
  • Larry Manfra - The inside of the area next to 5th Base is probably going to be done by November. The indoor cages will be ready for this winter. Adam will take control of the scheduler.
  • The new Cake Boss season is starting so our opening day event will be on TV over the next couple of weeks. Joe will keep us posted on that air date when he gets it.
  • Beam Clay is in Great Meadows. They might know a maintenance company. 800--247-BEAM. Shane will call them to check on a price for field maintenance. Shane will work with John Kobilarcik on this and see if he knows anyone else that we could call about a weekly maintenance program from a professional contractor. John - Do you have any contacts or recommendations?
  • Spring Travel tryouts areOctober 4th and October 11thfor 9, 10, 11 and 12 year old travel teams. Specific Times to be determined. Tuesday, October 6thwill be the 8u travel tryouts. Drew University will be running and judging the tryouts for the 9 to 12 year olds. The MBSA will run the 8u tryouts.
  • Skip Breslow still needs about six equipment bags back from the spring and summer. Skip and Adam - Can you let me know who has not given bags back to you and we will contact them?
