Street Law 2012-2013
A. Description
In Street Law, students will study the common laws that are in our society. These are the some of the laws that govern our people and our states. The course is generic, due to each state having their own set of laws that vary greatly across this country. The understanding of this course will help students pass the end of course exams. The understanding of the course will help the student be a better citizen and student.
B. Organization
Street Law is an independent study with some daily discussion on the topics. The discussions will only be held if the students raise their hands before speaking. The discussions will not be a “free for all” with students yelling out or cross talking with their opinions. Students will answer the questions in the book that are in each chapter. A test will be given at the end of each chapter. A chapter a week should be completed. If the student misses a chapter, they are responsible for catching up.
