AMERICAN FREEDOM FESTIVAL

NOTE IT IS A TWO DAY FESTIVAL!
This year’s Independence Day celebration will take place Monday, July 3 from 3-9 p.m. and Tuesday, July 4 from 3-11 p.m. at Dansbury Park, East Stroudsburg, PA. Last year’s July 4th extravaganza was a success. Thousands of people attended the festivities. Admission is free for the festival, which will feature live music by Pocono Mountains performing artists, a wide variety of craft and merchandise vendors, culinary midwayamusement rides, prize drawings, exhibits, demonstrations, and the always-popular “American Freedom Fireworks Spectacular” on the 4th. Music will be provided both days.
Please complete the attached Merchandise Vendor Application and indicate your commitment to participate in the 16th Annual “American Freedom Festival” by mailing the signed document with your full payment of $250.00, plus electric fee if needed, to the address given on the form by June 4th. After that date a late fee of $25 per space will be charged and all money must be in the form of a money order or cash.

Terms and Conditions
- No check in before 12 p.m. Set up between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.
- All exhibit spaces are located on grass or asphalt. Lighting, tables, tents or other shelter will NOT be provided for Merchant spaces. The cost for each space is a fee of $250.00. There is an additional $60 fee to purchase electrical power, if needed.
- A photograph of the concession set-up and detailed description of products/items to be sold is required with the application.
- Canopies and tents that cover an area in excess of 120 square feet require a no-charge permit from the borough. Membrane material for all canopies and tents must be made of approved non-combustible material or treated to render the material flame resistant. For the permit, contact the East Stroudsburg Borough, 24 Analomink Street, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301, (570) 421-8300.
- All locations will be assigned by AFF. Placement will be at the sole discretion of AFF staff.
- Concessionaires must park vehicles off-site once load-in is completed. Please remove vehicles immediately when asked by AFF staff.
- A detailed description of products/items to be sold is required with the application before the application can be approved. Any items not listed on the application and approved by AFF may not be sold during the event. All items must show prices.
- A space will be held only upon receipt of the non-refundable $250.00, the electric fee if needed, and signed application.
- All signs and displays must be of a professionally produced nature. Prices of all items should be clearly displayed. Vendors are required to keep a neat, presentable exhibit at all times. Tables should be covered on all sides, to the ground. Empty boxes and trash will not be permitted around the exhibit area.
- AFF reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to alter or remove any exhibit or merchandise that does not reflect the high standards of the festival. Merchandise, signs and displays deemed offensive or inappropriate may result in exercise of this option.
- It is the sole responsibility of each concessionaire to obtain the applicable and appropriate state, and local licenses and permits as well as payment of taxes pertaining to their operation.
- Exhibits must remain open from 3 p.m.–9 p.m. Monday, 3 to11 p.m. on Tuesday.
- DIRECTIONS.
From Interstate 80, take the East Stroudsburg exit to Prospect Street, pass Lehigh Valley Health System-Pocono and East Stroudsburg University, and continue to Analomink Street. Turn left, cross the railroad tracks straight ahead to the stop sign on North Courtland Street. Turn left again, and then turn right at the stoplight onto Day Street. The entrance to the American Freedom Festival in Dansbury Park is on the left.

By signing this application, I acknowledge that the American Freedom Festival is subject to various weather conditions. We will not cancel any portion of the event due to weather conditions. Application fees are non-refundable. Exhibits must remain open all day until the loss of natural light.
I agree to hold harmless Eastburg Community Alliance and East Stroudsburg Boroughfrom any injury, theft or other loss that may occur to property or person during festival load-in/set-up, the event and/or break-down/load-out.
