2016 SOLO & ENSEMBLE FESTIVAL for PIANO
NON ALL-STATE LEVEL I THROUGH LEVEL IV
Each spring, the New York State School Music Association gives exceptional student musicians an opportunity to perform a solo that is rated by a qualified adjudicator. This year the Piano Solo Festival will be scheduled at HauppaugeMiddle School on Monday,March 21,2016,between the hours of 4:00-9:00 p.m. Students who meet the standards set below and wish to participate must complete and return this form with a check(cash will not be accepted) for the proper amount made payable to “HAUPPAUGE PUBLIC SCHOOLS”.
STANDARDS
In order to participate, the student must:
1. Be able to prepare the solo outside of class time.
2. Be responsible for transportation to and from the festival.
3. Supply two (2) original copies of the solo to be performed. Xerox copies are not permitted.
