Authorised Operators of Prescribed
Breath Analysis Instrument

I, Bruce Porter, Commander, College Command, in pursuance of regulation 59 of the Traffic Regulations, being of the opinion that each member of the Police Force whose name appears in the attached Schedule is: -

(a) trained in the use of a prescribed breath analysis instrument known as the Drager Alcotest 7110; and

(b) capable of using that prescribed breath analysis instrument correctly,

Authorise those members of the Police Force to use that prescribed breath analysis instrument for the purpose of the Traffic Act.

(c) trained in the use of a prescribed drug analysis instrument known as the Drager DrugTest 5000; and

(d) capable of using that prescribed drug analysis instrument correctly,

Authorise those members of the Police Force to use that prescribed drug analysis instrument for the purpose of the Traffic Act.

Medical Services Act

Revocation and Determination of
Charges for Medical Services

I, Natasha Kate Fyles, Minister for Health:

(a)under section 6(2)(b) of the Medical Services Act and with reference to section 43 of the Interpretation Act, revoke the determination of charges for medical services dated 6 March 2016 and published in Gazette No. S20 on 21 March 2016; and

(b)under section 6(2)(b) of the Medical Services Act, determine that the charges to be made for medical services provided under the Act are as set out in the Schedule.

alien patient means a person who receives medical services provided under the Act and who is an alien.

insured patient means a person who receives medical services provided under the Act and who is insured in respect of charges for the services.

MBS means the Medicare Benefits Schedule published from time to time by the Commonwealth Department of Health.

private patient means a person who receives medical services provided under the Act by, or at the request of, a private dentist or private medical practitioner.

Medical Services Act

Revocation of Declarations and
Declaration of Hospitals and Health Centres

I, Natasha Kate Fyles, Minister for Health:

(a)under section 6(2)(a) of the Medical Services Act and with reference to section 43 of the Interpretation Act, revoke all declarations of premises, except declarations of premises to be a nursing home, that are in force immediately before the date this declaration is published in the Gazette; and

(b)under section 6(2)(a)(i) of the Medical Services Act, declare each premises listed in the Schedule, Part A, to be a hospital; and

(c)under section 6(2)(a)(iii) of the Act, declare the premises managed by the Department of Health and operating as a health centre at each place listed in the Schedule, Part B, to be an urban health centre; and

(d)under section 6(2)(a)(iv) of the Act, declare the premises managed by the Department of Health and operating as a health centre at each place listed in the Schedule, Part C, to be a remote health centre.
