1. This year we will have three stewardship intern crews:
· Roving Crew: A three-person crew that will travel across the NFCT performing projects in each state. Projects will include but will not be limited to campsite installation, stone staircase construction, and privy installs. Three weeks of training, a majority of meals will be covered, $250 per week stipend.
· Maine Flagstaff-Bow Loop Crew: A two-person crew that will travel between the Flagstaff Lake and the Bow Loop Trail performing general campsite maintenance and minor campsite and portage trail repair projects. Two weeks of training, majority of meals not included, $300 per week stipend.
· Allagash Wilderness Waterway Crew: A two-person crew that will be focused on projects occurring within the Allagash Wilderness Waterway in northern Maine. Projects will be focused on portage trails and work will include stone staircase construction and the installation of erosion control. Three weeks of training, majority of meals will not be included, $300 per week stipend.
