2 Minutes of previous A.G.M to be agreed and matters arising - PJ, TF agreed true account, no matters arising.
3 Report from charity trustees - Now a charity, will allow to get money off (80% off business rates) free banking
and it is a good step forward. PJ to meet with accountant to go through the way we need to record information.
4 Accounts for year end 2016 – Copy of unaudited financial statements circulated. Trustees have looked over accounts. Committee flagged up a few issues with some of the information in the report. PJ/EG to go back to accountant with the queries.
5 Auditors – AT -To appoint Messrs Search and check it as the auditors. Agreed trustees need to review.
6 Auditors remuneration – AT - To authorise the charity trustees to set the level of the auditors’ fees.

MB proposed to re-elect the above. DY and PJ seconded, LK is to stand down as Fundraising organiser. MB wanted to thank LK for her work whilst on the committee. Need to advertise for a new committee member to take on the role.
Committee queried paid staff (coaches) and their roles on committee. Need to check legalisation.

Now have charity status.
Lease still ongoing with Drurys transport.
Members 185 gymnasts (the most amount we have ever had, nearly at capacity - 10 spaces available)
Waiting list 250 gymnasts Active coaches -13
Fees remain the same (will need to change when we move).
New training leotard is a success (old training leotard only 1 year old, won’t be re-ordered due to lack of demand).
Need to arrange a building meeting to discuss finances.
Quantity surveyor needs to check lease to protect trustees. AT has a contact who could do this.
Contracts for all paid employees sent to Sophie Howard for approval.
All members to be asked to pay via BACS next term. Although now a charity we won’t have to pay bank charges and this is how we want it to run when in new premises.
Need to organise holiday, travel expenses, course re-imbursement and parent consent when travelling forms.
