RE: Sponsorship

Team Parents & Managers,

Here are some things to pass along to your team to help out with getting sponsorships. We need your help in pushing to get this done.

  1. Our goal is to have each team get at least $1,000 in sponsorships even though the requirement is $450. This does not mean you stop at this amount; keep trying to bring in more sponsors.
  1. This year’s sponsorship requirement for each team is at least 3 sponsorships totaling $450.00 or more.
  1. The deadline for sponsorships in order to guarantee the sponsor’s banner is up for opening ceremonies is February 20th, 2015. We will have the ability to fulfill last minute sponsors for banners, but if the number of last minute sponsors is too great, we will not be able to accommodate all of them. GET THEM IN EARLY!
  1. If sponsors are being turned in directly to you, please turn them in to me personally, do not mail. You can email me and we can arrange a time at the fields to get the application to me.
  1. Sponsorships will not be processed without the form and the money. It is extremely time consuming trying to track down the correct form or trying to collect payment, so I am leaving this job up to the teams.
  1. Beginning on Thursday February 23, 2017 we will begin contacting last years sponsors for which we have not received a sponsor from for this year. We refrain from contacting these sponsors as most of them are brought in by the parents and we do not want to take these sponsors from them; so please let the parents know to get in contact with their sponsors as we will be contacting them beginning on this date.
  1. There will be prizes for the top two teams that bring in the most money in sponsorship. 1st PLACE – 4 ANGEL Tickets

w/parking TBD (exchanges will be allowed if they cannot make that game)and a team Snack Party w/ Jersey Mike’ssandwiches (this will be at the snack bar on a day arranged by your team); 2nd PLACE – 4 ANGEL Tickets, game TBD. The team that wins will need to decide how they want to distribute the tickets; my suggestion is to give them to the parent that brings in the most or have a drawing between all who brought in sponsorship, but again, that is your choice. In order to be eligible, sponsors must be received no later than one day before Opening Day.

  1. In addition to the above, the teams in the upper and lower division that brings in the most money in sponsorships will receive a gift certificate to apply towards the team in any manner they choose (subject to approval by the NSLL BOD). The total is for the entire season. Upper division is comprised of AAA and above and the lower division is comprised of AA and below.
