Qualifying Classes:

1.Open Boys (Inc Intermediates) - shoot 10m, swim 4 mins, run 2,000m

2.Open Girls (inc Intermediates) - shoot 10m, swim 3 mins, run 1,500m

3.Junior Boys (under 15) - shoot 7m, swim 3 mins, run 1,500m

4.Junior Girls (under 15) - shoot 7m, swim 3 mins, run 1,500m

5.Minimus Boys* (Under 12) - shoot (2 hands, turning targets) 7m, swim 2mins, run 1,000m

6.Minimus Girls* (Under 12) - shoot (2 hands, turning targets) 7m, swim 2mins, run 1,000m

Competitors in Classes 5 and 6 must be 8 years or over on 3rd February 2018

Non-Qualifying Classes:

7.Beanies Boys (Under 8 on 03/02/18) Beanbag throw, swim 2 mins, run1,000m

8.Beanies Girls (Under 8 on 03/02/18) Beanbag throw, swim 2 mins, run1,000m

9.Beanies Biathlon (Under 8 on 03/02/18) Beanbag throw and run 500m

* Classes 5 and 6 will be split if sufficient entries (for rosettes but NOT qualification).

Teams of 3 or 4 members with the best 3 overall scores to count.

ROSETTES: To the first 10 individuals in each class and medals to each phase winner.

Team rosettes to 6th place.

ENTRIES: £18 per competitor (£15 for 2nd and subsequent family members) and £13 for Class 9 (£11 for 2nd and subsequent family members).

Send entries (with cheques payable to PONY CLUB AREA SEVEN to Janet Wakeham, Whitfield Farm, Ettington, Stratford upon Avon, Warks CV37 7PN. Times will be emailed to Team Managers and will be on the Area 7 web page by Wednesday 31st January.

RULES

1.The competition will be run in accordance with the 2017 Tetrathlon Rule book

2.All competitors to be members of the Pony Club .

3.Ages as at 1 January, 2018 except where otherwise indicated.

4.Guns to be cased at all times until instructed by the range officer to un-box them at the start of the detail. At all other times guns must be stored in their boxes and locked in a secure place out of sight. Anyone loading a gun for a competitor, must be over 18. No guns to be carried by anyone under 18. It is compulsory to wear long trousers and shoes that do not come over the ankle bone for the shooting phase.

5.The decision of the organisers and judges is final. Complaints should be made by Team Managers only, within 10 minutes of the results being published.

6.No dogs are to be brought to the competition.

7.Do not at any time contact Ludlow Leisure Centre regarding this competition.

8.Please remove all muddy shoes before entering the either of the sports halls. No outdoor shoes to be worn pool side. Please respect the property and grounds of Ludlow Leisure Centre at all times.

Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to competitors, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.

NB: Photographic Rights – competitors and their guardians give permission for any photographic and/or film or TV footage taken of persons taking part in Pony Club events to be published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of The Pony Club and/or official sponsors of The Pony Club.
