IV. Old Business

·  3 v 3 Tournament is June 11th
Summer camps - discussed proposal to add “Street Soccer” to the Saturday campo. Would conduct street soccer skills, have inflatables on site and a street soccer competition amongst campers. Cost is $1,300.00. Managers and coaches present in favor – Executive Board voted to fund the expense - pay half now and half day of event., Camp will be in the evenings on June 15th, 16th and 17th with the 18th (Saturday) have a morning and afternoon session. Discussion as to need for Jamonn to aggressively advertise camp to our coaches/ managers / players. Jamonn to create email blast and poster for concession stand.

·  Capitol planning update - discussed proposed agreement with Town of Smyrna - if Council votes affirmatively - new fields ready for play by Spring of 2018 (possibly Fall of 2017). Lighting would be a second phase but completed by July 2018. Also discussed aeration and top dressing bids (and sand) - total cost is approximately $35,000.00 and will be funded by SRFC. Also need to sprig or seed parts of several fields this summer.

V.  New Business

·  SRFC Parent of the SRFC 05 LR was reported via referee reports for abuse. Parent would not leave fields and after the game approached the ref - grabbed his report, tore it up and threw it in the refs face. TSSA wants our proposal for discipline of this parent and coach. Motion made by Yvette, seconded by Sully to ban parent for remainder of this year and place him on probation for the next year. Coach is to be placed on probation for remainder of this year,. Bill Jordan to craft a response to the parent and TSSA outlining our proposed discipline.

·  Bill discussed need to a work day - move goals - repair or relocate kick board, secure backstop netting etc. Rusty to set date

·  Summer Adults - dates June 26th thru August 14th. Will use two fields at SES and play at 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. - cap of 96 players, registration opens soon. Fees - $55 if previously registered for 15/16 - $80 if not registered. Adult fall dates - begin September 3rd and end 11/5 - one week before and one week after rec.

·  Fall rec - U 5 thru U 8 to have “two teams’ per roster with one coach. No referees for U5 and U 6 division - coaches will “ref” their own games. FASL - to receive one jersey and one T shirt next season. Also discussed trying to space out the smaller fields to prevent congestion.

·  Fall calendar - only change from Greg’s proposal is to move the Coaches meeting to the 22nd to allow more time to solicit coaches. We will breakout age groups at coaches meeting to discuss age specific changes. Suggestion by Tina that we send an email to all parents outlining all the changes coming this fall season
