Dear Coach/Athletic Director:

This year’s North Mercer Junior High Tournament will be held Monday, November 11 through Friday, November 15. Please check game times and dates carefully. The following teams will be participating this year: East Harrison, Grundy County, Newtown-Harris (girls), North Harrison, and North Mercer.

Game pairings for next week’s games are enclosed. I have rosters for each team, and this will be used as our pass list. Bus drivers and scorebook personnel will need to identify themselves at the gate. No other individuals will be permitted without paying. HDC passes/BOE passes are not accepted.

Tournament Team Information

1.Admission

Admission will be $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for students. If you leave the building,

you must pay full admission upon returning. No passes will be accepted

2.Participants

Each coach will be responsible for identifying players, managers, cheerleaders,

scorekeepers, and bus drivers to the personnel at the admission table.

Players and coaches will be admitted free on the nights that they do not play.

Coaches will get their locker room assignments at the admission table upon arrival.

There is no pass-list and game personnel, players, and administrators are the only

individuals that will be let in free. Please have them notify the gate table upon entry.

3.Team Information

Teams must vacate their locker room immediately after their game. Classrooms will be available for storage upon request.

Games will start ahead of schedule if possible. Ten minutes will be allowed

between games and halftime. No warm-ups during half-time will be allowed for the next game

Warm-up balls will be provided.

The floor will be available twenty minutes before the start of the first game for

warm-ups. Players are to remain in the locker room or commons

area in order for varsity practice to be uninterrupted.

4.Hospitality Room

A hospitality room will be provided for coaches, officials, and administration. It is

located up the ramp and to the left.

5.Bus parking

Bus parking will be provided directly in front of the gym doors.
