Welcome – Introduction of attendees & new Principal Eric Frei
Board - President Lenny Richards resigneddue to personal reasons. President position currently open.
Boosters are also looking for a Secretary & Treasurer position for the 2017-2018 school year. Would like to train replacements for a smooth transition. Contact a Booster member if interested in any of these positions.

Orientation from 9-11 am on 8/10. Jodi Finucan has volunteered to help Dee with membership sign ups. Thank you Jodi! Orientation will not be held during the day starting next school year.
Open house is Tuesday 8/30 at 7pm
Parent teacher conferences 9/21 4-7pm
Homecoming Football game Friday 9/23 & Homecoming Dance Saturday 9/24

Membership
1400 North students, goal is to increase membership each year. $15.00 min. Membership for the 2016/2017 school yearwas kicked off at the North Expo!
Forms and membership sign-ups are available in the office and at all Booster meetings.
Membership will be added to the North website.
Fundraising
Suggestion - Starting an alumni campaign via social media (ex: Go Fund Me). More to follow.
Treasurer Report - Report filed, read & approved
Bingo – Trying to form a bingo committee
Responsibilityof teams to communicate if unable to show up. Team liaison is a good suggestion.
Great news! Sales and attendance are up. This means we will need two Managers and two Bankers to handle the increase. Bingo Door – 5:30 pm & Instants at 5pm
Priority – need volunteers!! Bingo is our biggest fundraiser.
Suggestion – ask that Coaches communicate that volunteering is “mandatory”. Need a full staff of volunteers in order to make more money on Bingo nights.
Old Business:
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - Boosters communicate via WE/North website, FB page, Booster email distro, Principal email distro,North events.
How do we further communicate ALL that Boosters does and has donated. Need to get the word out even more so everyone knows how much time and work goes into benefiting ALL students at North High.
New Business: Volunteers needed for Fall sports along with Bingo.
*Put in the sign up genius what group you are volunteering for; AfterProm, Booster scholarship, boosters, etc.
Concessions -
Volunteers needed! Boosters continue to send out communications with sign up links.
Suggestion - Sports can switch and fill in for each other ex: girls basketball & boys soccer
New popcorn machine coming!
Treasurer report! – Read and approved
Checks have been written thru April 2016.
Secretary –Previous meeting minutes were approved.
Meetings- Meetings will be communicated the week prior along with a reminder. Meetings are the first Monday of each month unless there is a holiday or weather day.
Next meeting is Monday 9/12at 7pm in the North Commons (due to Labor Day holiday).
Future Meetings:10/3, 11/7, 12/5, 1/9, 2/6, 3/6, 4/3, 5/1 & 6/5 (No meeting in July)
