North Carolina artists to enter the
7th Annual Tony Snow Juried Exhibition
The Yadkin Arts Council, located in the Yadkin Cultural Arts Center at 226 East Main Street in Yadkinville, NC is pleased to announce the 7th Annual Tony Snow Juried Art Exhibition.This exhibition is a celebration of some of the finest creativity in North Carolina.

Eligibility
Entry is open to Fine Art artists in both 2D and 3D categories that are a minimum of 18 years of age and reside in North Carolina.

First Place 2D: $1000
First Place 3D: $1000
Second Place: $750
Third Place: $250
People’s Choice: $150
Specifications
Artist may submit a maximum of threeoriginal works of art. Submitted art mustnot have been shown previously at the Yadkin Cultural Arts Center. Categories excluded from entry are photography, commercial prints, and giclee. Entries must be for sale. Work may not exceed 40” in either direction, including frame and must be properly wired for hanging. No saw tooth hangers will be accepted. Any accepted piece that is received and does not follow these specifications will be declined with no exceptions. Lastly, all work must remain hanging until end of show. No early withdrawals.

Sales
The Yadkin Arts Council will retain 25% commission of all sales during this exhibition. Payment from sales will be made to the artist within 30 days after the close of the exhibit.

Submission of Entries
- Complete the official entry form located at:
Your entry will automatically be submitted when you complete your payment through PayPal. Make sure you complete each section. Incomplete entries will automatically be declined with no exception and no notification. Your entry fee is non-refundable so make sure you follow submission of entries.
- Submit two JPEG images for each entry. One image should be a close-up of the work and the other should be a wide angle shot to include the frame.
- Images should be sized to 1024 pixels on the longest side and should be saved in a .jpg format.
- Each image should be titled with the artist name and title of piece. Example: SmithJ_Sunflowers.
- Include a short artist biography in the box provided on the entry form.
- Complete entry must be received by 5 p.m., Tuesday, October 31, 2017.
- Works may be hand-delivered or shipped by the artist.
- Remember to include a pre-paid return shipping label if you are shipping your art work.
- Each accepted piece of artwork must be labeled with Artist Name, Address, Phone, Email, Title, Medium, and Retail Price.
- All entries will be notified by email regardless of whether or not the entry was accepted.
Disclaimer
The Yadkin Arts Council reserves the right to refuse any work that does not comply with all specifications or differs greatly from submitted digital images. Your electronically submitted entry form signifies your agreement with the terms and conditions stated herein, including permission to the Yadkin Arts Council to use accepted entries for advertising purposes.
Return of Art
All unsold art must be picked up no later than 2:30, Saturday, January 27, 2018. We are very limited on space so any art not picked up by the deadline will remain the property of the Yadkin Arts Council. Art work that is shipped must include a pre-paid return shipping label. Artist will be notified by email when return shipping has been picked up by the shipping company.
Liability
The Yadkin Arts Council insures all work while on its premises. Artists must provide their own incoming/outgoing shipping insurance. YAC is not responsible for damage due to improper packing or use of faulty construction.
