Understanding the Tabs

Projects—gives you a list of all the projects you have created.

Dashboard—the main page of your project. You will have a dashboard for each project you create.

Bibliography—where you create your citation. It also lists the citations you have created for the project.

Create Your Project

1.  Click Create new project. The next screen gives you some options. Use the default choices for style and level. Name your project.

2.  You will now be on the dashboard of your project.

Cite Your Sources

1.  Click “Bibliography” from the top bar.

2.  From the dropdown menu (under MLA Works Cited) choose database. Click “create citation.” Choose Original Content as the type of source you are citing.

3.  Click on the green circle next to the words MLA guide in the upper right corner. This shows you what the citation should look like and helps when you are filling in the citation information.

4.  Fill in the blanks as best you can, paying attention to the hints in the white box that will pop up when you start typing.

5.  When done, look to see if you have a yellow triangle next to any boxes. This will tell you of possible errors.

6.  Click the green submit button.

7.  Repeat steps 2 – 7 for each source that you use.

Inserting your “Works Cited” Into your Powerpoint

1.  Make sure you are in the Bibliography section of Noodle Tools.

2.  Click “print/export” and choose Print/Export to Word. The computers at school may block the automatic file download. If so there is a click here link to choose.

3.  A download box will pop up. Choose Open.

4.  Your completed already formatted document will pop up. Copy and paste into your slide.
