Invitation to Bid
The Executive Engineer, Karachi Central E&M Division No.II, Pak. P.W.D., Karachi, a Federal Government Executing Agency, situated at Pakistan Secretariat, Saddar, Karachi, invites sealed tenders, on percentage rate basis, for the work tabulated hereunder, from the Contractors / Firms registered with Income Tax & General Sale Tax, where applicable, (who are Active on Taxpayers List & non-defaulter of Federal Board of Revenue) & having valid license of Pakistan Engineering Council in appropriate category & field of specialization i.e. EE04, EE05 & ME02.
Bidding documents containing detailed terms and conditions, etc., can be had from the office of the undersigned latest by 17th May 2018 during office hours, on payment of prescribed tender cost (non-refundable), as shown against each, as per Rule 23(5) of Public Procurement Rule 2004, on production of requisite documents as mentioned at Para-1 above. No tenders will be issued to ineligible firms & un-authorized person(s).
The bids, prepared in accordance with instruction in the bidding documents alongwith 3% bid security, in consonance with Rules-25 of Public Procurement Rules, 2004, in shape of Pay Order/Bank Draft, drawn in favor of the undersigned, duly mentioned the name & title of the participating firm, must dropped in the tender box by 11.30 a.m., on 18th May 2018, which will be opened publicly on same day at 12:00 (Noon)., in presence of the participants. Tenders received by mail, courier and fax or telegraphically shall not be entertained whereas competent authority reserves the right to reject one or all bids in accordance with Rule-33 of Public Procurement Rules, 2004.

In case tenders are not sold / opened on the date mentioned above, due to unavoidable / unforeseen circumstances; 2nd schedule will be followed. No tenders will be issued to un-authorized person(s).
