Class 16 Side Saddle Association EQUITATION CHAMPIONSHIP OPEN QUALIFYING CLASS

Run under S.S.A. Rules defined in the current Member's Handbook. Open to S.S.A. Members and Non-Members. Members carrying their current Championship Points Cards are eligible for S.S.A. rosettes to 3rd Adult and 3rd Junior places and S.S.A Championship Points. Southernden Farm offers a rosette to the highest placed member aged under 14 on 1st January of the current year. Side Saddle International offer a rosette to the Adult Member and Manor Grange Stud Show Centre to the Junior Member, judged to be the best turned out. Competitors must wear a hat to current British Safety Standard or above.

Open to horses and ponies 4 years old or over; conformation & manners will be taken into consideration. Horses/ponies will not be stripped. A Special rosette will be awarded to the highest placed Adult and Junior Member of the S.S.A. carrying their current Championship Points Cards. *

Competitors must wear a hat to current British Safety Standard or above.

Class 19Side Saddle Concours d’Elegance

The sole criterion for this class is the elegance of the picture presented by Horse and Rider. Attention may be paid to the rider’s personal appearance but detailed inspection or rider or tack is not required. Fancy dress or period costume is not permitted. Competitors are required to walk trot or canter. No individual show is required but the judge may ask groups of three or four riders to give short displays. Two special rosettes will be awarded to the highest placed adult and junior member of the SSA carrying their current Championship Point cards. Competitors must wear a hat to current British Safety Standard or above

Class 20 Riding Club Horse/Pony

Snaffle Bridles Only. Will be required to jump 1 or 2 small jumps.

Judged on suitability as allrounder.

The Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL first round qualifiers are open to both members and non-members of the Senior Showing and Dressage Ltd. Please note all competitors should acquaint themselves with the rules of the SSAD Ltd., they can be found at . 1st– 3rd in each class will receive a £10 voucher kindly sponsored by Anthony Evans Insurance. Six Qualification cards will be handed out in the ring at the time of presentation. Competitors only need one qualification card for in hand classes and one qualification card for ridden classes. If already qualified this card must be handed down the line.

The second round Champions will go on to compete at the SSAD Ltd Championship Supreme Final, at The London International Horse Show at Olympia in December.
