between HIRA NAGAR -GHAGWAL stations on PTKC-JAT section.

In reference to the above, Railway Board vide letter no. 2016/CHG/37/9 PART-I dated 10.04.18 has approved Top of Form9.30 Hrs. OHE & Traffic block for construction of two LHS in lieu of L-Xing no. C-01 at km 01/5-6 between PATHANKOT CANTT-BHAROLI & C-36 at km 50/3-4 between HIRA NAGAR -GHAGWAL stations on PATHANKOT CANTT -JAMMUTAVIsections in Firozpur division. The block will be granted on 20-04-2018(Friday) from 08.30 hrs. to 18.00 hrs.
The repercussions of Trains with JCO wise attached as Annexure-A.
Other repercussions:
- Goods trains on the day of block will be regulated accordingly.
- Special trains if any on theday of block will be cancelled/regulated accordingly.
- SR of 20 kmph will be imposed one day before and will be normalised on 11th day after block.
- Division to ensure the effective utilisation of shadow block for maintenance works to adjacent division also inform.
Advise all concerned accordingly. Wide publicity should be given through PA system, newspapers and electronic media. Proper announcement regarding cancellation /partial cancellation/ rescheduling/regulation of trains must be ensured for the information of general public. Kindly ensure that safety measures/precautions as per rules are taken at work site during the block.
