Below are the amendments we made for the upcoming Bronze Championships we are hosting. We have implemented these rules/policies at our other hosted invitational meets, and the meets certainly have been run efficiently and with much success.Please make sure you notify your coaches, parents and swimmers of these changes (as they are NOT IN the original meet info packet you received from Bud) as soon as possible. I have attached the updated meet entry fee sheet as well. Please bring the check and the updated meet entry form on the first day of competition. Session start times are also listed below.

  • THERE WILL BE NO ADMISSION FEE.
  • SPECTATORS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING UNTIL THE COMPLETION OF THE PRIOR SESSION
  • SWIMMERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING UNTIL 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE FIRST WARM UP SESSION IS SCHEDULED. **This is to help with crowd control** NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • EACH TEAM MUST SUPPLY AT LEAST ONE TIMER PER SESSION. (No timer required if a team has SIX or less swimmers in each session). ** Timers will be assigned based on the number of entries each team has in each session.**
  • THERE WILL BE (3) 25 MINUTE WARM-UPS. THE LAST (5) MINUTES OF EACH WARM-UP WILL BE FOR STARTS/SPRINTS IN YOUR ASSIGNED LANES. 4 LANES IN THE SECOND POOL WILL BE OPEN DURING ALL SESSIONS TO USE FOR ADDITIONAL WARM-UPS/WARM-DOWNS.
  • WE WILL NOT PRESEED THE FIRST TWO EVENTS.
  • FLYOVER STARTS WILL BE USED.
  • NO CHAIRS, COOLERS ETC ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING.
  • COACHES AND OFFICIALS MUST SIGN IN AT THE FRONT DESK TO RECEIVE A WRISTBAND .TIMERS AND PARENT VOLUNTEERS MUST ALSO SIGN IN. PARENT VOLUNTEERS AND TIMERS WILL BE RECEIVING LANYARDS TO WEAR. YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE DESIGNATED AREAS WITHOUT ONE!
  • ALL 11/12 AND 10 & UNDER SESSIONS WILL BE MARSHALLED FROM THE GYM; 13 & OVER WILL NOT.
  • ALL SWIMMERS MUST REMAIN IN THE GYMNASIUM DURING THE MEET, EVEN FOR THE 13&OVER SESSIONS. AS AN ASSISTANCE, HEAT START TIMES WILL BE PROVIDED ON THE HEAT SHEET FOR THE 13&OVER SESSIONS.
  • COACHES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MARSHALLING THE RELAYS.
  • TIMERS MUST SIGN IN AT THE FRONT ENTRANCE AND THEIR NAMES SHOULD BE LISTED ON THE ENTRY SHEET THE COACHES WILL PROVIDE.
  • NO SWIMMERS ALLOWED IN THE VIEWING GALLERY UNLESS IN STREET CLOTHES…NO EXCEPTIONS
  • ONLY PARENT VOLUNTEERS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE GYM DURING THE MARSHALLING SESSIONS. 2 PARENTS PER TEAM…THEY ARE THERE TO MARSHALL THEIR TEAM TO THE CORRECT AREA AND TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE BEHAVING THEMSELVES! NO WRITING ON THE TARP IN THE GYM,NO RUNNING/THROWING THINGS.
  • NO FOOD ALLOWED ON THE POOL DECK.
  • PARENT VOLUNTEERS AND TIMERS WILL BE RECEIVING LANYARDS TO WEAR. YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE DESIGNATED AREAS WITHOUT ONE!
  • MEET MOBILE WILL BE AVAILABLE DURING THE SESSIONS.
  • NO DECK ENTRIES WILL BE ALLOWED.
  • TIMERSSHOULD SUPPLY THEIR OWN WATCHES.
  • **10 lanes will be used, however, at the discretion of the meet official per session we may use 8. Coaches please make sure you have enough timers. **

Session 1: Saturday: 9-10

Warm-up: 7:00 - 8:15 amMeet Starts: 8:30 am

Session 2 Saturday: 11-12

Warm-up: 11:15 – 12:05 pm Meet Starts: 12:15pm

Session 3 Saturday 13 & Over

Warm-up: 2:45 – 4:00 pmMeet Starts: 4:10 pm

Session 4: Sunday: 9-10

Warm-up: 7:00 - 8:15 amMeet Starts: 8:30 am

Session 5 Sunday: 11-12

Warm-up: 11:25 – 12:15 pmMeet Starts: 12:25pm

Session 6 Sunday 13 & Over
