Update on turning bus stops into taxi ranks after 10.00pm / Malcolm Burton / This will not be possible at the moment but they are looking at extending the taxi rank near the old TSB Bank.
To investigate the use of the Alcohol Free Zone at Sharpley Road Shops / Chris Wharton / The DPPO are not being used at present but have not been withdrawn and the beat officer feels that there is no need for it at present.
To encourage the new Exec to take a more of an interest in what this group is doing, contact will be made with Will Spinks / Debbie Smyth / To be carried forward
To discuss with County trailing ID cards for over 18’s in a hot spot location / Ian Stone / To be carried forward
Update from Pub Watch regarding issues from football matches / Debbie Smyth/ Daniel Chadwick / This happeningand they are receiving regular updates.
An update on the Knife Arch / Chris Wharton / This will be taking place on the 17/12/10 and 14/01/11 outside Vice Versa and they will be conductiong licensing visits throughout the night and update will be provided at the next meeting. Concerns were raised about the 14/01/11 as this could be a very quiet time as students were in the exam period.
To check that trading standards are doing on licences checks / Chris Wharton / Trading Standards only do off-licenses checks.
To check what the upgrade for COOL covered with Mike Tyler / Allison Fadesco / To be carried forward
To complete a bid for a radio for the CCTV control room to monitor South Charnwood communications / Ian Stone / To be carried forward
To investigate how other forces use head cams and where they wear them / Ian Stone / To be carried forward
